Hi, I setup USER_ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V per the spreadsheet and reading. From the CCS window, it looks like TMDSHVMTRINSPIN increases the bus voltage well beyond the quiescent voltage from the power supply during braking events. In the extreme, I'm seeing nearly 15% overvoltage as might be expected for this braking.
After discovering the overvoltage, I am planning to modify the ADC input hardware to not allow >3.3V at the inputs (fortunately, it hasn't blown up anything). Then, add the extra amount to the USER_ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V. Does this sound correct?
I've seen no discussion on this type of design in relation to USER_ADC_FULL_SCALE_VOLTAGE_V and ADC input mods.
Thanks! Bill.
